The Story
One developer, six products.
Thomas Feucht founded Crimson Dragon in 2011 while working as an Enterprise Architect at Mercedes-Benz. It started as a way to publish small mobile apps in his spare time, Piano For Kids among them.
In 2025 he left Mercedes-Benz to work on Crimson Dragon full-time. He is remaking the 1989 game Oil Imperium as Oil & Soil and building two AI tools: Change Happens for website monitoring and rytica for mindmapping. Two small iPhone apps are on their way to the App Store: GKV Alarm, which warns you when your German health insurer raises its contribution, and Bitcoin Island, which puts the Bitcoin price into the Dynamic Island.
Crimson Dragon is a one-person studio. Contributors, testers and people from our Discord community help with development and testing.
What drives us
Our Values
Players and users first
We build for the people who use our products, and their feedback decides what we work on next.
Ship early
We release early versions, listen to feedback and improve from there. rytica's Early Access is one example.
Made in Stuttgart
We design and build everything here, with the habits of someone who spent years building enterprise software.
Curiosity
A piano app for kids, a tycoon game and AI tools have little in common, except that we wanted them to exist.
