These terms supplement the Apple Standard EULA that applies in the App Store. In case of conflict, mandatory statutory rights and the overriding App Store terms prevail.

2. Free features

Viewing the current Bitcoin price in euros or US dollars while the app is open is available without a purchase. The app shows the source and time of the price.

3. Bitcoin Island Pro as a one-time purchase

Bitcoin Island Pro is a non-consumable one-time purchase through the Apple App Store. The localized price shown in the store before you confirm applies. Pro is not a subscription; there is no recurring app fee.

For the entitled installation, Pro unlocks in particular:

• price observations as a Live Activity in the Dynamic Island and on the Lock Screen;
• updates of the Live Activity while the app is closed, via the update service;
• extending observations, manually or automatically.

Apple limits a Live Activity to a maximum of 8 hours. Where iOS supports it, the service continues with a follow-up activity. A refund, revocation or withdrawal of the store entitlement ends future use of Pro; statutory rights remain unaffected.

4. Restoring a purchase

An existing purchase can be checked again via “Restore” on the Pro screen. Restoring requires the same Apple Account and depends on Apple’s and RevenueCat’s systems. It does not trigger a new purchase. If you have problems, contact info@crimsondragon.de.

5. No investment or financial advice

Bitcoin Island is purely a display tool. The app does not provide investment, financial, tax or legal advice, does not recommend buying or selling, and does not enable trading in cryptocurrencies.

The prices shown are indicative values from public price sources. They may differ from prices on individual exchanges and are not a basis for trading decisions.

6. Price data and updates

Prices come from a third-party provider (currently CoinLore). Euro prices are converted from the US dollar price using the European Central Bank reference rate and may therefore differ slightly from euro prices on individual exchanges. Despite reasonable care, prices may be delayed, incomplete or incorrect. If updates stall, the app shows “Update delayed” and the age of the price shown.

Background updates depend on the internet connection, operating system settings, and services from Apple (APNs) and the price providers. iOS may delay or throttle Live Activity updates. Uninterrupted or immediate updates cannot be guaranteed.

7. Permitted use

The app and the update service must not be misused, overloaded through automation, bypassed or manipulated. Technical safeguards and entitlement checks must not be circumvented.

8. Availability, changes and discontinuation

The service may be temporarily restricted for maintenance, security, troubleshooting or due to external requirements, such as changed interfaces of the price providers or Apple. Material changes must not unreasonably impair statutory consumer rights or the usability owed for a permanent one-time purchase.

9. Warranty and liability

Statutory warranty rights for digital products apply. Mandatory liability, in particular for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, product liability and expressly assumed guarantees, remains unaffected.

10. Privacy

Information on the processing of personal data is provided in the Bitcoin Island Privacy Policy.

11. Final provisions

Mandatory consumer law of your country of habitual residence remains unaffected. If individual provisions are invalid, the statutory provisions apply.
